Back then, X-acto knives were made by X-acto Crescent Products Co., Inc.... the same company, I assume, who provided us with all that Crescent illustration board. From Science & Mechanics Magazine (1946). See the next image for an enlarged detail of that great little X-acto man up in the right hand corner!
