X-ACTO No. 11 Bulk-Pak
contributed by Museum Curator

This is the way REAL artists used to buy blades, wimps... BY THE HUNDREDS! And the #11 blade was the familiar work horse of the fleet. X-ACTO is now owned by Elmer's Products (that's right, the cow guy!) which is owned by Berwind Group (originally The Berwind-White Coal Mining Co.). Why does this make me so sad? Because until 2002, the X-ACTO knife was made by The Hunt Pen Co. in Statesville NC. And you've gotta love a company that lives on Speedball Road.
